Raisa got 1st prize in Obedience and won her class :)

Raisa Jangas Duck Soup participated her first Obedience Test as she finally reached 10 months of age. Raisa worked well and we got 1st prize in Beginners class and can now compete in Open class. Raisa was best of 8 dogs in her class.

Eppu became Springers Spaniel Club's Agility Winner!

Today we competed club's championships and "Eppu" Jangas Blame the Dog was best springer spaniel and won the Trophy. Eppu and Janni Kröger compete in Maxi-3 class. Congratulations Janni and Eppu!

Tico passed Working test!

Jangas Dirty Dancing "Tico" passed Working test today. She also won trophy for the best spaniel in test :) Congratulations Tico and owner Sari Eklund!

Manteli passed Working test!

Manteli aka Jangas Dimples passed working test today with her co-owner Minna-Riitta Nummelin. Miss Mandel (10 months old) got also Tiramisu Trophy as she was the youngest spaniel to pass the test.

Elvis is now in Maxi-2 class in Agility!

Reetta Huovinen and "Elvis" Jangas Cola For Elvis got their third clear round in Maxi-1 class and they were placed as 2.! Next weekend they will start competing in Maxi-2 class.

Raisa got her first CC!

Raisa Jangas Duck Soup was in her first official dog show today. In may '07 she was BIS2-puppy and now she continued with style. She got CC after winning Junior class with Excellent and being Best Bitch-2. Judge was Olga Kupriyanova.

Raisa and Remu passed working test

Raisa Jangas Duck Soup and her brother Remu Jangas Direct Action passed working test in Mouhijärvi. They were only 10 months old. Judge was Risto Janné.

Remu got Open class 2. prize in Tracking test

Remu Jangas Direct Action and owner Kasia Majanen participated their first tracking test (blood track). At only 9 months of age Remu got 2. prize and 35 points! Well done Kaisa and Remu.

Paavo was Best Male-4!

Paavo aka Jangas Dirty Harry participated in his first official dog show and did very well. Only 9 months old and still he won junior class with Excellent and became Best Male-4! Judge was Rita Reyniers, Belgium.

Eppu got clear round in agility!

Eppu Jangas Blame the Dog and Janni Kröger got their first clear round in Maxi-3 (highest class) in agility. They need 7 clear rounds to participate in Finnish Championships 2008. Time will tell, if Eppu will be the first Welsh Springer Spaniel to get there...

Hannele Jokisilta was judging in Hämeenlinna dog show and puppies did very well.

Her brother "Remu" Jangas Direct Action was BOS-puppy.

Karkku National Specialty

Judge was invited fron Great Britain as usual, and he was Stephen Pick, kennel Llon.

Here is Raisa's critique:
" Well trained puppy who behaved well in ring. Moved with enthusiasm and really covered the ground. Excellent bone & substance, short couple. Very good in topline, which she held on move. Balanced head with well shaped eye, good tailset, excellent feet. "

Tico BOB-puppy

Tico Jangas Dirty Dancing participated Helsinki int dog show with her owner Sari. Tico got honorary prize and became BOB-puppy!

Hurray for Janni Kröger and Eppu Jangas Blame the Dog for getting their last clear round in Maxi-2 and moving to highest Maxi-3 class in agility! They did it with style and won their class :)

Today it was Eppu's turn to get a clear round and move closer to getting to the highest class in agility. Jangas Blame the Dog and Janni Kröger were placed as 2. among 20 competitors.

Jangas Cola For Elvis "Elvis" and his young owner Reetta Huovinen were placed as 2. in Maxi-1 class after their second clear round. They need only one clear to get to Maxi-2 class.
